“Love is all we Have”

By: Forrest Rivers

love one another chalk written on concrete floor

Love is all we have

Give peace to this world

And never waver

Love is all we have

Keep faith in this world

And always remember

To keep your inner light on

We must grow now together

Love is all we have

Show courage in this world

And never surrender

Love is all we have

The moment is now

To evolve in our awareness

Love

Faith

And truth

Is what we need!

“Friendship”

By: Forrest Rivers

women forming heart gestures during daytime

Good Friends

Are like Hidden gems

Sacred star dust

And the gift of family

That you choose….

Who can understate the blessing

Of a true friendship few will ever know?

As time marches on,

And as our bodies grow old

Our souls will always remember the day

That we met our best friend

And it will smile and say:

Thank you, God,

For all the love in my life.

“Winter’s Gift”

By: Forrest Rivers

Snow falling from the sky

I feel so lucky to be alive

In this dream that never ends

May we always be bestfriends

True faith is found deep within

As the night falls

I begin

To pray for winter’s gift again

In this season my soul will sing….

Its songs of freedom

Its songs of love

It songs of wisdom

And its songs of hope.

“Perennial Secrets”

By: Forrest Rivers

man opening his arms wide open on snow covered cliff with view of mountains during daytime

Our Memories may fade away

Our bodies may decay

And our hair may turn grey

But our souls will always remain

Young and vibrant

Shining eternally

Ever present

Like the shifting winds

Or the change of the seasons

The physical world

Is but a training ground

For the blissful reunion

Of our spirits with the one

That has many names

So live free

Laugh often

Be a light onto others

And don’t take life so seriously

Then you will truly see

The joy of being.
