“That Which Is IT”
By: Forrest Rivers
In any given moment
We can appear to be
Anything to anyone:
An intellectual, a socialite, a lover
Even a seeker…..
But those who are true to themselves
Would never appear as anything they are not
Abiding in their deathless self
Beyond all projections of their mind
And identification with their body
The supreme aspirant of truth
Abides faithfully in the knowledge
That they are everywhere and in everything
Without so much as lifting a finger…..
What, then,
would be the use of appearing as anything
When you are already THAT which IS IT?
